Haakon Olafsson

Haakon is an alumnus of Cargill, Enron, Goldman Sachs and Statkraft India. He received his MBA from London Business School in 1998 and has a BSc in Economics and Finance.

He has a 30-year highly successful track-record of trading, business development, project development and optimisation of physical resources.

His trading track record generating on average 6 x Annualised return on VaR, equivalent to 30% AAR.

During his career, he has managed front, back, middle office, logistics, technology, finance, legal and regulatory teams.

He has hands on experience operating large-scale energy assets; 100MW-1.8GW power plants, onshore gas terminals, offshore oil & gas production, pipelines and gas storage
