Tony Walker

Tony is an alumnus of Cargill, Enron, RWE, Nidera and Cofco Intl. He has a BSc in Physics and Mathematics.

He began a 30-year commodity focussed career at Cargill trading global grain markets. From there he built a successful track record in trading, risk management, data systems, process optimisation and business transformation.

He has covered all commodity sectors but specialised in Energy and Softs. During his career he has managed trading teams and commodity portfolios for investment funds and was appointed Chief Risk Officer of an $18bln turnover global commodity house.

He has experience in all aspects of commodity supply chains in developed and emerging markets, has unique insight into the end to end process from trade initiation to financial reporting and how to increase process efficiency, improve controls and reduce costs.
